What is a music video treatment?

A music video treatment is the planning document directors use to sell and shoot a video: the story idea, the visual rules, the locations, the wardrobe, and a shot-by-shot breakdown with camera and lighting notes. It is the bridge between a song and a shootable plan.

What the treatment is — and is not

  • The treatment is a creative interpretation of your lyrics and the song's analysed mood. The AI has not listened to the audio — it works from the transcription and metadata.
  • Lyrics transcribed by the model are a first draft. You can correct them word by word before or after the treatment is built, and re-generate.
  • Timing in the shot list is a draft tied to the moments you selected. Confirm it against the audio before you shoot or hand it to a crew.
  • The treatment is a starting point you edit — not a locked plan. Every scene, location and camera move is editable text you can refine.
